Mr. Lim is currently the Chairman of Gas Supply Pte Ltd, Executive Deputy Chairman of LMA International NV, Deputy Chairman of NTUC Fairprice Co-operative and the Singapore Institute of Management. He is also the immediate past Chairman of Building & Construction Authority and of Senoko Power Limited.

Mr. Thein is a Director of United Overseas Bank Limited, a Board member and Chairman of the Audit Committee of several listed companies in Singapore, among them Haw Par Corporation Limited, GuocoLeisure Limited, GuocoLand Limited, MobileOne Ltd, Keppel Telecommunications & Transportation Limited, MFS Technology Ltd, FJ Benjamin Holdings Ltd and Otto Marine Limited.
